Safe Squad is a mobile application that prioritizes user safety and provides peace of mind for their loved ones. It is a free app available for everyone at all times and locations. Safety, to us, is a fundamental right that should not be associated with cost or exclusivity.

Existing safety apps in the market face several significant issues:
<ol>
<li>They are based on the user's ability to pay.</li>
<li>They cater exclusively to specific demographics.</li>
<li>They primarily function as location services apps.</li>
<li>The internal aspects of the apps lack discretion.</li>
<li>Despite good concepts, they often lack functionality.</li>
</ol>

In a saturated app market, Safe Squad stands out by offering inclusive and accessible safety for all demographics, irrespective of gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, political affiliation, or socioeconomic status.

The app's internal interface resembles a calendar to maintain discretion and avoid identification as a safety tool by potential threats. Safe Squad does not operate as a location services app since we understand that not everyone desires constant monitoring or tracking. Our focus is on balancing privacy and protection by requiring users to manually activate their emergency contacts and input event details such as location and timeframe. In emergencies, the automatic SOS messaging system activates, alerting the user's selected emergency contacts to their location.

Safe Squad boasts a user-friendly interface that is visually appealing and discreet. The following features have seamlessly integrated Safe Squad into users' daily lives:

<li>Discrete Calendar Interface: Provides necessary camouflage by blending in with regular scheduling tools where users can input event details like name, time frame, and location.</li>
<li>Color Safe Code: Validates the user's safety with a personalized code that is difficult to replicate or guess.</li>
<li>Automatic SOS Messaging System: In emergencies, triggers the SOS feature to send messages directly to chosen emergency contacts.</li>
<li>Session Expiry Feature: Displays an alarm screen with snooze or close options if it surpasses the event's time frame.</li>
</ul>
